    Cute & Inexpensive Blanket Scarf

I am absolutely loving this super cute blanket scarf for the winter months! I wasn’t sure when I picked it up that I would be able to figure out how to wear it properly, but it turned out to look super cute. Sometimes it can be a little difficult for me to find scarves that work with my petite size, but this one was a little less bulky. These blanket scarves are nice because they can be worn in so many different ways. This one is super soft and the best part is that it was under $20! A similar one can be found here! Now I just need to…

    Our Tree Full of Memories

Today it is snowing here in Colorado, so we decided to stay in and and set up our Christmas trees (yes, that’s plural)! I usually wait until the weekend after Thanksgiving, but I just couldn’t help myself! Plus, now we get to enjoy them a little longer. We had so much fun watching our son “help” us get all of the ornaments and decorations out. He was super excited about it all! We also made a trip to the St. Nicks store so that James could pick out his own ornament. Right away he picked out a little red train and wouldn’t put it down for anything. I wrote the…

    “Perfect” Mommy

When I was pregnant with my son, all I could think about was becoming a stay-at-home mom! I would daydream about strolling through the mall with my beautiful new baby, play dates with other “put together” moms, and my house looking like it belonged in a Martha Stewart magazine. Well there’s a reason that I used the word “daydream”, because sometimes being a stay-at-home mom isn’t as picturesque as I may have thought it up to be. The house may not always be immaculate and ┬ásometimes play dates consist of walking through Target with a friend picking up our last minute groceries and diapers, but honestly that is ok with…
